Man’s remains found in Brussels cellar 20 years after disappearance

A skeleton discovered in July during renovation work on a house in Forest has been identified, the federal police announced on Tuesday, launching an appeal for witnesses.
The body was found in the cellar of the house on Rue Caporal Trésignies. It has been identified as that of Redzep Rahmanovski, a 27-year-old from North Macedonia who had been missing for more than 20 years.
The last known sighting of Rahmanovski was on the evening of 16 July 2003, when he left the restaurant he worked at on Rue du Marché aux Fromages in central Brussels.
