King Albert II to be released from hospital on Wednesday

King Albert II will leave hospital on Wednesday and return home, the Royal Palace announced on Tuesday evening.

He leaves hospital a week after he was admitted on 27 June with symptoms of dehydration. He was treated for a blood infection that additional analysis showed during his time in the hospital.

The king is doing well and will continue to rest and recover at home in the coming days, the announcement said
