EU leaders agree on additional support for Ukraine without Hungary

European Union leaders reached an agreement on further support for Ukraine during a summit in Brussels on Thursday, according to a European source. However, Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orbán refused to join the agreement, leaving the decision backed by 26 out of 27 member states.
Due to Orbán’s opposition, the agreement was not included in the official written conclusions of the summit. Instead, it was attached as a separate text, which is "strongly supported by 26 member states", an official reported.
Earlier in the summit, EU leaders had unanimously agreed on an ambitious plan to strengthen European defence.
