Zelensky asks Belgium to do more: "Peace is worth much more than diamonds"
Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky asked Belgium to do more to support Ukraine during his speech in the Belgian Federal Parliament. Among other things, he pointed to the import of Russian rough diamonds, which has not yet been curbed by European sanctions. "I think peace is worth much more than diamonds, than Russian ships in the ports, than Russian gas or oil."
According to Zelensky, Belgium is at the heart of Europe and our country "can be an example for other countries to do even more". "Help us. With weapons, with sanctions, with the possibility of becoming an EU member state. Help us, and we will be grateful to you for it."
