XRDS Festival brings the best of electronic music to Brussels

XRDS - Crossroads Festival returns to Brussels' Vijverspark in Anderlecht on Friday. Under the viaducts of the capital, the organisers are bringing together more than fifty artists on three stages. The electronic boutique festival, which was first organised in 2017, offers a mix of international stars and local talent.
The curation of the festival is again in the hands of Fuse, the iconic Brussels techno club. The line-up includes DJ Nobu b2b GiGi FM and Kode9 b2b Tim Reaper, who combine deep techno and futuristic jungle respectively. Helena Hauff brings raw, energetic breaks, Planetary Assault Systems plays an intense live set and Jane Fitz makes her debut with an eclectic mix of trippy house and hypnotic techno.
On Saturday, Japanese DJ Yousuke Yukimatsu will headline. He conquered the international club scene with hyper-energetic sets in which he fearlessly mixes genres such as nu metal, Japanese electronica and the work of pop icons such as Billie Eilish. His breakthrough came after a viral Boiler Room set in 2024, which has been viewed millions of times. Yukimatsu's rise is all the more remarkable because he only started his full-time DJ career at the age of 46 after a serious illness.
The organisers have introduced a number of new features this year, such as redesigned routes and a modified layout to improve circulation.
The festival starts at noon on Friday and ends at midnight on Saturday. The festival site is accessible by public transport, bicycle or a paid shuttle bus from central cities throughout the country. After the day's programme, there will be after-parties on both evenings at Fuse in the centre of Brussels.
