World Figure Skating Championships: Pinzarrone after winning bronze: "I want to become European Champion"

Nina Pinzarrone won the bronze medal on Friday evening at the World Figure Skating Championships in the Czech capital, Prague. With a total of 215.20 points, she improved her personal record (202.29).
"Of course, I didn't expect this," she said afterwards. "I would have been happy just to have successfully defended my fifth place (after the short program). My first jump tonight was certainly not the best. Of course, there was stress, but I tried to stay calm. My next goal is to become European Champion."
In the final standings, the nineteen-year-old Pinzarrone was only beaten by the Japanese skaters Kaori Sakamoto and Mone Chiba.
This was the Brussels native's fourth appearance at a World Championship. Her best ranking was seventh place last year. Before that, she finished eleventh and fifteenth consecutively. At the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, she finished thirteenth.
