TW Classic festival cancelled after headliner Bryan Adams pulls out

The TW Classic music festival will not take place in 2026. The one-day festival on 11 July has been cancelled because headliner Bryan Adams pulled out due to medical treatment for one of his band members. According to the organisers, it is not possible to book another artist of a similar status for the festival before the summer.

“We are very sorry for everyone who was looking forward to TW Classic and thank them in advance for their understanding,” said the organisers, which said it had not been an easy decision. “Our standards are high and we always strive for the best. We will continue to stand up for what we believe in.”

The line-up for the festival also included British singer Elvis Costello, Belgian band dEUS, American rock band Counting Crows and Monza, the Belgian band led by Stijn Meuris.

The organisation will continue to focus on its other festivals,,Rock Werchter, Werchter Boutique and Werchter Parklife. Anyone who had already bought a ticket for TW Classic will be contacted and will automatically be refunded.
