Tour of Flanders women: Demi Vollering wins solo, Lotte Kopecky finishes fourth

Demi Vollering won the 23rd edition of the Women's Tour of Flanders on Sunday. The 29-year-old Dutch rider completed a sixteen-kilometer solo effort. After 164.1 kilometers with the start and finish in Oudenaarde, she had a 42-second lead over the Frenchwoman Pauline Ferrand-Prévot and her compatriot Puck Pieterse. Lotte Kopecky sprinted to fourth place at 1:04.

For Vollering, it is her first victory in 'Flanders' Finest'. On the list of winners, she succeeds record winner Kopecky, winner in 2022, 2023, and 2025. With two Liège-Bastogne-Liège victories as well (2021 and 2023), Vollering now has three ‘Monuments’ on her list of achievements.
