Tomorrowland Winter welcomes 20,000 festival-goers in the Alps

The third edition of Tomorrowland Winter is taking place this week in the French ski resort of Alpe d’Huez. All 22,000 tickets to the festival were sold out.

The festival is the winter version of Tomorrowland, a huge electronic dance music gathering held every summer in Boom, a town south of Antwerp. It attracts top DJs and enormous crowds from around the world, with elaborate stages and luxury accommodation.

Tomorrowland Winter is the setting for the Tomorrowland Academy, where student DJs can get tips from professionals, including some of the festival’s biggest names. A special edition for children is also planned.
