Three injured in shooting in Brussels, police report

Three people have been wounded in a shooting on Avenue de la Toison d’Or in Brussels on Wednesday evening, Brussels police report.

“At around 7.30pm we received a report of a shooting on Avenue de la Toison d’Or,” said police spokesperson Ilse Van de Keere. “Our services immediately went to the scene. Three people were wounded. A perimeter was set up.”

When police teams arrived, the perpetrator was no longer at the scene. Several ambulances are at the scene to take care of the injured.

Police are investigating the incident.
