Third injured Belgian repatriated after fire in Swiss ski resort

A third Belgian who was injured in the fire in the bar in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, will be admitted to a hospital in Belgium on Saturday. That announced Belgian foreign minister Maxime Prévot earlier today.
A total of seven victims of the fire will be treated by Belgian teams specialising in the treatment of severe burns. Five of them are already in the hospital and the last two arrive today.
“Two more young patients are expected to arrive in Belgium today,” Belgian foreign minister Maxime Prévot said earlier on Saturday. "One of the two young people is registered as a Swiss national, but he also has Belgian nationality. So there are now three Belgians among the victims, one of whom is still missing.” “We remain in close contact with the Swiss authorities and sympathise with the families of the victims of this tragedy," he added.
The Constellation bar in the Crans-Montana ski resort was destroyed by a fire on New Year's Eve, killing 40 people and injuring 119. A total of 50 people were seriously injured in the fire and have been or will be transferred to specialised hospitals outside Switzerland by Sunday evening.
On Friday, the Valais cantonal police announced that 113 of the 119 injured - Swiss, French, Italian, Serbian, Belgian... - had been formally identified. No information was provided on the identity of the 40 dead, but ante-mortem files were opened for the missing persons in collaboration with several countries, including Belgium, France, Italy, Portugal, the Philippines, Romania, Serbia and Turkey.
