Theatre show for Dutch learners premieres in Antwerp

Oh Dierbaar België, a theatre show that aims to help people learn Dutch by showcasing Belgian music, premiered at the Oud Badzaal Theatre in Antwerp on Tuesday.

The show by the musical group Lennaert & De Bonski's presents Belgian musical treasures in an accessible way, from the Eurovision duo Nicole & Hugo to Stromae.

The show encourages participation by projecting lyrics so the audience can sing along. Lennaert & De Bonski's have been creating performances for Dutch learners for over a decade.

The show will be performed in theatres and cultural centres throughout Flanders, as well as in Brussels and Louvain-la-Neuve, until September 2024. A full tour list can be found on their website.
