The Love Bugs Parade is back in Brussels on February 12

The Love Bugs Parade will take place on 12 February in Brussels. Autoworld museum announced this in a press release on Friday. Every year since 2009, the event has brought together nearly 300 Volkswagen Beetles, Beetles and Transporters T1, T2 and T3.

The cars are expected on the Esplanade du Cinquantenaire in front of the Autoworld museum on the Sunday before Valentine's Day, i.e. on 12 February, from 10.00 am. The starting signal will be given at 2 pm. First, the T1 will open the parade, followed by the recently launched ID. Buzz, the electric model that represents the Transporter of the future.

The vehicles will head for the Merode and Tervueren roundabout for a good hour's drive around Brussels, following a precise roadbook. They will return between 3.15 and 4.00 pm.

This new edition will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the importation of the Beetle in Belgium. That's why a celebration is planned, including a DJ and a birthday cake, when the cars return to the centre of Brussels.

In parallel, an exhibition entitled "VW Love Bugs - The Buzz Edition" will be held from 4 February to 26 March at Autoworld. It will trace the history of seven generations of Volkswagen Buses, from the first T1 to the T7, with the ID. Buzz electric.
