Sixteenth Antwerp Pride week ends with free Closing Festival

After a week of festive and cultural activities, debates and workshops, the sixteenth edition of Antwerp Pride is coming to an end. The event comes to a close on Sunday afternoon with a free party called the Closing Festival.

After the opening night on Wednesday at the Rivierenhof open-air theatre, Antwerp began a five-day LGBTQIA+ event that culminated on Saturday with a record 140,000 spectators for the traditional Pride Parade. Dozens of activities were organised throughout the week, with performances, talks and DJ sets.

The Closing Festival features performances by Dutch singer Carolina Dijkhuizen and Gustaph, this year's Belgian representative in the Eurovision Song Contest. The festival runs from 2 pm to 11 pm and admission is free.
