Red Devils not in for next round at Qatar World Cup

The Red Devils are going home. Although the match's final minutes against Croatia were still fascinating, the golden generation failed to score. Thus ends the World Cup story of Belgium's 'golden generation'.

Despite the Belgian national team's better performance in the second half, the ball did not get between the posts. After all, the Belgians needed a win to advance to the next round. Regardless of some good chances in the closing minutes, the match ended 0-0.

The Red Devils leave the World Cup in Qatar after a meagre win against the Canadians and a surprising loss against Morocco, which qualified as group winners for the next round. Croatia, which had enough of a draw against Belgium, also advanced to the next round.
