    "body": "<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Proximus is the first telecoms operator to launch 5G+ in Belgium, six years after the rollout of 5G, the company announced on Tuesday. The technology is now available to certain businesses and will be rolled out to residential customers and small businesses from the summer.</strong></p><p style=\"text-align: left\">According to Proximus, 5G+ offers customers &ldquo;a highly stable experience, superior call quality, seamless simultaneous use of voice and mobile data, and enhanced security&rdquo;. </p><p style=\"text-align: left\">The technology is more resilient to traffic spikes and will support the development of end-to-end network slicing, which allows part of the network&rsquo;s capacity to be reserved for specific applications such as emergency services, payments and media applications.</p><p style=\"text-align: left\">&ldquo;With 5G+, we are taking another fundamental step towards the mobile network of the future,&rdquo; spokesperson Geert Standaert said. &ldquo;After pioneering 4G and 5G, Proximus is now leading the way with 5G+, and we are proud to be the first in Belgium to bring this next-generation 5G technology to Belgium.&rdquo;</p><p style=\"text-align: left\">The roll-out will take place gradually. Business customers with Mobile Connect and Together Mobile tariff plans and a compatible 5G+ SIM card will be the first to gain access. It will then be available from the summer for individuals and small businesses, and the feature will be extended to eSIMs.</p><p style=\"text-align: left\">Using 5G+ requires a compatible device and the customer must be in an area covered by 5G. Proximus&rsquo;s network currently covers 92 per cent of the population.
