Parents of young Belgian woman missing in Peru offer reward for information

The parents of 28-year-old Natacha de Crombrugghe, the Belgian tourist who disappeared in Peru on January 24, are offering a reward for any information leading to the recovery of their daughter. They announced this in a press release on Friday. "The parents are more determined than ever to find their daughter," the press release reads.
The young Belgian tourist disappeared on January 24 in Cabanaconde-Colca Canyon, Peru. After two and a half months of searching, there is still no trace of her. At the beginning of this month, her parents Eric and Sabine de Crombrugghe travelled to the area a second time. They are offering a 15,000 dollar reward to anyone who can provide information that can lead to the recovery of their daughter.
The two already travelled to Peru a first time in February, joined by representatives of the Belgian embassy. Shortly afterwards, the search was interrupted by bad weather and landslides. As the parents did not receive any more information, they decided to return to Peru.
Natacha's friends have since set up a support group, Looking for Natacha, to mobilise as many people as possible and spread information about the search. A website was created under the name, as well as a Facebook page and an Instagram account.
The 28-year-old woman from Brussels disappeared on January 24 when she was supposed to have left a hostel in the village of Cabanaconde to trek through the Colca Canyon, a deep canyon in the south of Peru.
