Over 110,000 people attend Pride Parade in Antwerp

Around 110,000 people joined the Antwerp Pride Parade on Saturday afternoon, according to police. Organisers put the number at 160,000, counting both participants and spectators along the route.
The event passed without major incidents. Earlier in the day, far-right group Voorpost held a pre-approved protest, which remained peaceful. In total, police administratively detained 18 people.
Celebrations continue on the quays until midnight with the Love United Festival, including a set by DJ Carl Cox. Police say they expect no problems with crowd dispersal, as departures will be staggered.
“We are extremely satisfied—apart from one incident everything went smoothly,” said police spokesman Wilfried Eetezonne.
Antwerp Pride concludes on Sunday with a closing party from 2 pm to 11 pm. The next edition is scheduled for 5–9 August 2026.
