Odoo and Partena unveil major HR and payroll partnership

Belgian software firm Odoo and HR services provider Partena Professional have announced a new partnership to create a fully integrated HR and payroll solution for the Belgian market.
The two companies say the platform will simplify and speed up the entire HR process, bringing tasks such as leave requests, approvals and payroll management into a single system. The deal’s value has not been disclosed, though Odoo’s chief executive, Fabien Pinckaers, said it is at least ten times larger than the firm’s current biggest contract.
Partena Professional, which already handles around 920,000 payslips, described the move as a “revolution” for the sector. Chief executive Roeland Van Dessel noted that Belgium is one of the most complex countries for payroll due to its many labour agreements, regions and regulations.
Rather than simply collaborating, the companies will jointly build a new product aimed at unifying services on one platform. They plan to begin with the country’s largest labour categories before expanding further.
The solution will initially target accountants and business leaders. A launch is planned for early 2027.
