Night trains to run between Brussels and Hamburg from summer

Night trains will run between Brussels and Hamburg from July, after operator European Sleeper added the German city to its new Paris-Brussels-Berlin route.
The Paris-Berlin connection will be in place from the end of March, running three times a week. Three months later, Hamburg will be added as a stop.
The new connection will allow passengers from Brussels to take the overnight train to Berlin six times a week. European Sleeper already runs three times a week from Brussels via Amsterdam to the German capital, and then on to Dresden and Prague. The company says that route should become “operationally profitable” this year.
In addition, the operator plans to start night trains from Brussels to Switzerland and Italy in mid-June, with its terminus in Milan.
Apart from European Sleeper, Austrian railway company ÖBB also operates night trains in Belgium. Its Nightjet trains run between Brussels and Vienna.
