New path above water opens in Meise botanical garden

In the botanical garden of Meise (north of Brussels) a new 400 meter path was opened. The new project is called the ‘island garden’; the path carries visitors over water, to see different water plants.
This new collection of plants is presented in a refreshing, interesting way, with the concrete path that was build by moving and removing the soil, so as to be able to get to spaces that were inaccessible before.
The construction took one year and 1,2 million euro. Plant lovers are welcome as of end of September.
