More than 2,500 artists open their studios for Atelier in Beeld

This weekend, over 2,500 artists in around 1,500 studios will open their doors for Atelier in Beeld (Atelier in Focus). This initiative allows visitors to discover visual art where it originates.

For visitors, Atelier in Beeld is a chance to see where artistic inspiration becomes tangible, discover the different techniques and talk to the artists, says umbrella organisation Kunstwerkt. The open studios are an opportunity for the artists to present their work and working environment to the public.

This year's line-up is diverse, ranging from painting, glass and sculpture to photography, design, graphics, street art, calligraphy, ceramics and textiles.

All participating studios in Flanders and Brussels are listed on the website. Visits to the studios are free, and no reservations are required.
