Body of Spanish man found in car at Charleroi airport

A man's body was found in a vehicle in the car park of Charleroi airport last Friday. The man had been at the airport since January, the Charleroi public prosecutor's office confirmed on Wednesday morning. The cause of death is unknown for now.

A security patrol discovered the body of the 54-year-old in a car with a Luxembourg number plate. The man was of Spanish origin and had been at the airport since 27 January. The pubilc prosecutor's office gave no further information.

An autopsy did not shed light on the man's death, Sudinfo reports. Further investigations are ongoing.
