Lukaku hints at Red Devils exit after Euro 2024

Striker Romelu Lukaku has hinted at a farewell to the national team after next year's European Championship in a new docu-series about Belgian football stars.

The four-part Amazon series One For All airs on Thursday and gives a rare insight into the lives of Belgium's top players Lukaku, Thibaut Courtois and Axel Witsel.

In the series, Lukaku hints at retiring from playing for the Red Devils after next year's European Championship in Germany. Meanwhile, goalkeeper Courtois still has his sights set on the 2026 World Cup.

"I've been playing professional football for over 13 years," said Lukaku. "Some players don't even manage that. I have more than 100 caps, so many goals... Maybe I should rest more so I can play longer."

He did, however, stress his intention to play for Belgium in next year's tournament. "Then we will have three European Championships and World Cups together."
