Lionel Messi and Luca Modric will clash in first World Cup semi-final

The FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar is nearing its conclusion this week. The first semi-final match will see Argentina, led by superstar Lionel Messi, take on Croatia, with veteran midfielder Luca Modric of Real Madrid.

The Argentine squad, known for their strong attacking prowess, will be looking to secure a spot in the final and claim their third World Cup title in history. Messi, widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, hopes to lead his team to victory and cement his legacy on the international stage.

Croatia, on the other hand, will be aiming to replicate their surprising run to the final in 2018, where they narrowly lost to France. Led by the experienced Modric, who won FIFA's prestigious Golden Ball award that year, the Croatian team cannot be underestimated.

The match promises to be a thrilling encounter, with both teams boasting a wealth of talent in their ranks. The winner will go on to face either France or Morocco in the final. Their match will take place on Wednesday.
