LATAM Cargo triples flights at Brussels Airport
The Latin American airline LATAM Cargo will triple its flights at Brussels Airport from four to twelve a week as of 27 October. This was announced by Brussels Airport on Wednesday.
This means that Brussels Airport will become the main European hub for LATAM Cargo. The aircraft will mainly transport flowers from Ecuador to Europe and then return to Latin America with pharmaceuticals.
LATAM Cargo is the largest cargo airline group in Latin America. The company first arrived at Brussels Airport in 2018. The airline then stopped its flights to and from Brussels before returning in March 2023 with four flights a week.
From the end of October, the number of flights will increase again, from four to 12 per week, with a cargo capacity of 600 tonnes.
