International restaurant ranking La Liste features 24 Belgian establishments

La Liste, a respected global ranking of the world's best restaurants, has included 24 Belgian venues in its latest edition. The highest-placed Belgian entry remains Boury in Roeselare. For the ninth consecutive time, the French restaurant Guy Savoy shares the top spot with nine other establishments, all achieving the same score.
Boury, one of Belgium’s two three-Michelin-star restaurants, scores 97.5. It is followed by Hof van Cleve (93.5) and 't Zilte, the country’s other three-star restaurant, with 92 points. Antwerp chef Nick Bril’s The Jane scores 90.5.
Other Belgian entries include Nuance (89), L’Air du Temps (87.5), La Villa Lorraine by Yves Mattagne (83.5), Slagmolen (82.5), Hertog Jan at Botanic Antwerp (82), Le Chalet de la Forêt (81.5), De Jonkman (81) and L’Eau Vive (80.5).
France tops the rankings with 119 restaurants, followed by China (118), Japan (115) and the United States (106). In addition to Boury, nine other restaurants achieved the top score of 99.5: one each from Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Italy and Spain, and two each from China and the United States.
First published in December 2015, La Liste evaluated more than 40,000 restaurants in 200 countries for this edition, drawing on over 1,100 international sources, including specialist media, gastronomic guides, and customer reviews.
