Increased demand for ‘adult only’ holidays among Belgians

Belgian travellers are increasingly interested in so-called “adult only” resorts, where children are not allowed, shows a survey conducted by Belga among different tour operators. Spain, Greece and Turkey were the most popular travel destinations for Belgians in 2025.
According to tour operator Corendon, the growing interest in “adults only” resorts is a remarkable trend. “This year, we are seeing an increase of more than a quarter in Belgium compared to last year,” stated communication director Jules van de Ven of Corendon. Tour operators Sunweb and TUI already confirmed this trend at the beginning of the summer in Gazet van Antwerpen.
Unsurprisingly, the most popular destinations in 2025 are Spain (Mallorca, Gran Canaria, Tenerife and Lanzarote), Greece (Rhodes, Kos) and Turkey, where the Antalya region on the Turkish Riviera is particularly popular.
The tour operators also note that the number of last-minute bookings has increased significantly and that there are also more and more so-called “very early birds”, people who are already booking their holidays for next year.
