Iconic James Bond vehicles on display at Brussels Expo

Visitors to Palace 1 of Brussels Expo will be able to step into the world of British secret agent James Bond in the coming months. From 9 December 2022 to 14 May 2023, the 'Bond in Motion' exhibition will tell all the stories behind some 50 of 007’s iconic vehicles.

James Bond is undoubtedly the most famous spy in the world, but his exclusive cars, motorcycles, boats, planes and helicopters are equally famous. From Sean Connery to Daniel Craig, every actor who crawled into the role of Bond could count on vehicles equipped with amazing technical and creative gadgets that gave him that edge over the enemy.

‘Bond in Motion’ shows a selection of scale models used for special effects, but above all a huge collection of vehicles straight from the films. They are each accompanied by film clips that offer explanations and bring to life memories of all of Bond’s spectacular stunts.

The expo is divided into three sections: on land, at sea and in the air. The equipment on show includes a jet ski, a hovercraft and even a cello case. A dented Land Rover, a Jaguar on fire and a crashed helicopter are all part of the backdrop. The absolute gems of the exhibit, though, are the Aston Martin DB5 from 'No Time to Die' and the London Underground car that crashed in 'Skyfall.'

After the visit, the public can drop in at the British Bar, where James Bond’s signature Vodka Martini, “shaken, not stirred,” is served.
