Ghent-based start-up Bizzy aims to conquer European market with AI sales agent

The Belgian start-up Bizzy has secured a €4 million capital injection from several well-known tech entrepreneurs, according to De Tijd. The funding will be used to develop a smart, AI-driven sales assistant for its sales intelligence platform, as the company prepares to expand across Europe.
Bizzy’s platform automatically collects, analyses and presents public company data from over 34 million European businesses and 76 million contacts. This allows sales professionals to identify potential clients more quickly and strategically. Currently, more than 10,000 users across Belgium, France, and the Netherlands use the tool each month, including 500 paying customers.
Backed by tech founders
The €4 million investment round was led by Fortino Capital and several other tech founders joined in, including those behind Silverfin, Lighthouse, Teamleader, and Henchman. This follows an earlier seed round in which Bizzy raised €1.1 million.
Alongside the investment, Bizzy is launching a new AI sales agent that automates much of the preparatory work for sales staff. The assistant searches for prospects and analyses their history, providing increasingly tailored recommendations as it learns through continued use.
Bizzy currently employs 35 people and generates €2.5 million in recurring revenue. However, the company has not yet reached cash flow break-even.
