Flemish fiction series "Two Summers" selected for Séries Mania

The Flemish fiction series "Two Summers" from production house Panenka has been selected for Séries Mania, the international television festival in Lille, which will take place March 18-25.
"Two Summers" was a huge success in Flanders, with more than a million viewers per episode and an average market share of 50 percent. The series tells the story of a group of bosom buddies whose trust in each other is tested when some of them are extorted with something that happened thirty years earlier.
The first two episodes will have their international premiere on March 19, 2022 in the presence of directors Tom Lenaerts and Brecht Vanhoenacker. "We are delighted that we can now introduce the series to an international audience," said the series' creators. "'Two Summers' will soon have a bright future and will be released in no less than 30 languages."
The Séries Mania television festival is now in its twelfth edition. In recent years, Flemish series have been highlighted more than once. Thus, among others, "Beau Séjour", "Spitsbroers", "Cordon", "De Ridder" and "Clan" have been featured at the festival in the past.
