Faithless to headline Suikerrock festival

Faithless are coming to Suikerrock this summer, the organisers announced on Friday. It will be the first time in eight years that the British dance band have performed in Belgium.

Faithless became world famous with songs like Salva Mea, Insomnia, God is a DJ and We Come 1. The band called it quits in 2011 but toured again to celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2015. They are back on stage after an eight-year break, albeit without singer and frontman Maxi Jazz, who died in December 2022 at 65.

Earthquake

The group has proved very successful in Belgium over the past few decades. One of the most remarkable highlights was a performance in the autumn of 2001 at the Forest National in Brussels, when around 8,000 enthusiastic fans caused a small earthquake.

Faithless will perform at Suikerrock on Saturday 3 August. Tickets are available on the Suikerrock website. A combination ticket (for Friday 2 to Sunday 4 August) costs 150 euros, day tickets for Friday and Saturday cost 69 euros. Tickets for Sunday are not yet available.
