Eurostar opens ticket sales to Paris for Olympic and Paralympic Games

Eurostar launched ticket sales for high-speed rail services to this summer's Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris on Wednesday.

Sports fans can buy tickets from 21 July to 9 September. Prices start at 49 euros for a one-way ticket to Paris from Brussels and 50 euros from Antwerp and Liège.

"Eurostar also offers early morning (from 6 a.m. from Brussels) and late evening (until 11.45 p.m. from Paris) services, allowing sports fans to cheer on their favourite teams and athletes without having to stay overnight," says the operator.

Eurostar, which took over Thalys last year, will transport Belgian athletes to and from Paris during the Games.
