Brussels welcomes 14 new "Brusselicious" restaurants

The Brussels-Capital Region now boasts fourteen new "Brusselicious" restaurants, bringing the total number of establishments with the quality label to over 40. The update was announced by visit.brussels in a press release on Monday.

The Brusselicious label, introduced in 2024, helps both locals and visitors identify restaurants that offer a truly authentic Belgian dining experience. The first selection included around 30 Brussels restaurants, all of which were awarded the label last year.

Following visits by culinary journalists from the Brusselicious jury, 14 new restaurants have been added. Jury members assessed establishments serving typical Belgian dishes based on criteria such as product quality, authenticity, origin and freshness. Cooking techniques, the Belgian character of the venue and value for money were also key factors in the selection.

Among the newly recognised venues in the city centre are Brasserie Ommegang, Le Corbier, Taverne Du Passage and Belga Queen.

Restaurants across several municipalities also made the list: Les Potes and Toque in Ganshoren, the Waterloo in Sint-Gillis, the Brassins in Elsene, Timber in Watermael-Boitsfort and Au Repos de la Montagne in Ukkel. Au Stekerlapatte in the Marolles and Pigeon Noir also received the label.

In addition, the three recently opened establishments Brasserie Boemvol, Kartouche and Le Petit Bonbon have already earned the Brusselicious distinction.
