Brussels Airlines to fly to Tel Aviv again starting in August

Brussels Airlines will resume flights between Brussels and Tel Aviv, in Israel, starting August 1, the Belgian subsidiary of Lufthansa announced. The flights had been suspended due to the unrest in the Middle East, since February and before that, several times since the attacks of October 2023.

Starting in August, Brussels Airlines will resume one weekly flight on Wednesdays. The airline will continue to closely monitor the situation in the region, it said. In the first month, Brussels Airlines will not deploy its regular staff for the flights to Israel. "We are deploying staff members who hold partly administrative or training positions," says spokeswoman Joëlle Neeb.
