Belgium calls for clean aviation projects

The Belgian government is making 10 million euros available for a call for projects for clean aviation. This was decided by the Council of Ministers on Friday at the proposal of Minister of Economy Pierre-Yves Dermagne and State Secretary for Science Policy Thomas Dermine (both PS). The money comes on top of the EUR 25 million in subsidies for clean aviation provided for in the national recovery plan.
A panel of independent experts set up by the Federal Aviation Platform will assess the projects to see who is eligible for support. If the projects are successful, the amount will be paid back to the state.
