    "body": "<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>French energy group Engie has reported a sharp fall in profits for the first quarter of 2026, mainly due to the closure of several Belgian nuclear reactors.</strong></p><p style=\"text-align: left\">The company&rsquo;s operating profit dropped by 14.7% to &euro;3.52 billion, while revenue fell 11.6% to &euro;20.6 billion.</p><p style=\"text-align: left\">Engie said its nuclear business was the hardest hit. Profits from that division falling by more than 72% to &euro;111 million.
