Battle of the Low Countries during semi-final PDC World Darts Championship

On Monday night, Belgian Dimitri Van den Bergh and Dutchman Michael van Gerwen will face each other in the PDC World Darts Championship semi-finals. Van Gerwen, top favourite and three-time world champion, does not fear his southern neighbour: "Who can stop me? If I'm good: nobody."
Dimitri Van den Bergh (PDC-15) takes on Michael van Gerwen (PDC-3) in the semi-finals of the World Darts Championship at London's Alexandra Palace on Monday night. The Belgian managed to beat the Dutchman once so far. However, Van Gerwen, who won the world title in 2014, 2017 and 2019, is not planning to let that happen again.
"It will be a difficult semi-final because Dimi is playing much better than a month ago", van Gerwen said. "I have lost to him once in my entire career, but that is no guarantee for this match. First, I must ensure I am sharp; then, I will let him come."
Following the elimination of Gerwyn Price and Peter Wright, the Nos 1 and 2 in darts, van Gerwen is the last of the 'Big Three' at the World Cup. Dimitri Van den Bergh is in the World Cup darts semi-finals for the first time in his career. The Belgian will meet the top favourite for a darts duel between the Low Countries on Monday at 10.30 pm (CET).
