Arnold Schwarzenegger comes to Antwerp festival to talk about reinvention

Arnold Schwarzenegger will visit Antwerp in March as part of entrepreneurship festival SuperNova. The actor and former governor of California will discuss how vision, ambition and adaptability can lead to great achievements, the organisers say. Tickets for the An Evening With event cost from 850 euros.
The theme of this year’s festival is “Reinvent Yourself”. According to the organisers, Schwarzenegger’s life story stands for “perseverance, ambition and the courage to constantly reinvent yourself”.
Before his film career, Austrian-born Schwarzenegger was a world champion bodybuilder, and later went into politics. He was governor of California from 2003 to 2011.
“He demonstrated that ambition, vision and hard work not only achieve personal goals but can also have a global social impact,” SuperNova said in a press release on Wednesday. “An hour in the same room as Arnold Schwarzenegger means learning from someone who has proved on multiple fronts what is possible if you keep reinventing yourself.”
The festival describes itself as a place “where visionaries, founders, and investors collide to shape what’s next”. Previous speakers include Barack Obama and Oprah Winfrey.
This year’s event will take place from 23-29 March at Waagnatie.
