Air China to fly from Brussels Airport, Chengdu new destination

The Chinese national airline Air China will fly to and from Brussels Airport from the end of March. It is also adding an extra Chinese destination to the airport's passenger network: Chengdu.
Air China will connect Brussels Airport with Beijing on a daily basis from 24 March – a route already flown by Hainan Airlines – and three times a week with Chengdu, a metropolis in central China, from 26 March.
Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province, will be the fifth destination on the Chinese mainland in Brussels Airport's passenger network, after Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Chongqing. Hainan Airlines operates on these routes. Juneyao Air also flies between Brussels and Shanghai.
In addition, there are flights between Brussels Airport and Hong Kong, a special administrative region of China. These are operated by Cathay Pacific.
Cargo flights between Brussels and Chengdu have been operating for some time.
