Adrien Dolimont named minister-president of Wallonia

Adrien Dolimont will be the new minister-president of the Walloon government, his party MR announced on Sunday evening. Dolimont, 35, currently serves as the region's Finance and Budget minister and will be Wallonia's youngest ever minister-president.
Les Engagés and MR on Sunday named the ministers who will form the next centre-right governments of Wallonia and the French Community of Belgium.
Les Engagés announced that Elisabeth Degryse would be the new minister-president of the French Community. The 44-year-old, who was until recently vice-president of the Christian Mutuality, will also be in charge of the budget, health, culture and international relations.
Belgium held European, federal, and regional elections on 9 June, with MR and Les Engagés emerging as the winners in the south of the country. Shortly after the elections, the two parties announced that they intended to join forces to form the governments of Wallonia and the French Community.
Just over a month later, the parties presented the government agreements they had reached, which were approved by their members on Saturday. The composition of the two governments was announced on Sunday so that they can formally launch on Monday.
