AC/DC announce European tour, playing Belgium on 9 August

Australian hard rock band AC/DC announced on Monday a European tour that will include a stop in Belgium. On Friday 9 August, the band will take the stage at the Stenehei Festival Park in Dessel, Live Nation reports.

During the Power Up tour, the Australians will play 21 European concerts. Tickets for the concert in Dessel go on sale on Friday 16 February at 10.00. A ticket costs 159 euros.

Brian Johnson, the lead singer of AC/DC, also visited Belgium last year to see his statue unveiled in Namur at the end of April. It commemorates the first concert of the Back in Black tour, which took place at Namur Expo on 29 June 1980. It was also Johnson's first concert with the Australian band.
