AB InBev to invest 600 million dollars in US manufacturing

Anheuser-Busch, the US arm of brewing giant AB InBev, is raising its investment in American operations to 600 million dollars (around 512 million euros), covering both 2025 and 2026, the company announced in a press release on Wednesday.

Anheuser-Busch brews brands including Budweiser, Bud Light, Michelob Ultra and Busch Light, as well as Stella Artois for the US market. The company says the investment is aimed at expanding its commitment to creating and supporting manufacturing jobs in the United States.

The announcement also includes plans to open fifteen new technical training centres at its sites across the country, in partnership with educational institutions. A specific focus will be placed on providing job opportunities for military veterans.

The move builds on a series of recent investments in the US. Almost a year ago, Anheuser-Busch announced a 300 million dollar investment in its US plants for 2025. Wednesday's announcement effectively adds another 300 million dollars, on top of nearly 2 billion dollars invested over the previous five years.

"Anheuser-Busch's 600 million dollar investment is a testament to our unwavering commitment to the future of American manufacturing"

"Anheuser-Busch's 600 million dollar investment is a testament to our unwavering commitment to the future of American manufacturing," said CEO Brendan Whitworth. "We are proud to continue building the next generation of manufacturing leaders through our new technical training centres while also providing new opportunities in the workforce for our nation's veterans."

White House spokesperson Liz Huston told Fox News Digital that the investment illustrates the impact of president Donald Trump's policies. His "America First" agenda places domestic manufacturing at its centre, Huston said.
