AB InBev invests 30m dollars in Florida brewery

AB InBev will invest 30 million dollars (25.7m euros) in its brewery and can plant in Jacksonville, Florida. The move aims to increase production of Michelob Ultra, one of the company’s fastest-growing beers in the United States.
The investment will fund upgrades to brewing tanks and bottling lines. AB InBev said it would support local jobs and boost the regional economy. The company has already invested more than 300 million dollars in its US facilities over the past year, including over 100 million in Jacksonville since 2021.
Michelob Ultra has recently become AB InBev’s biggest brand in the US by sales volume, overtaking Bud Light after it suffered a consumer boycott. The brand’s strong growth has made it a key focus for the brewer’s expansion plans.
The investment also fits with the US government’s push for more domestic manufacturing.
